Impressions of New York – Elie Saab FW Couture 2016

Old Glamorous New York – a land where dreams are as big as its skyscrapers and where style is well … a necessity.

Impressions of New York, Elie Saab’s Fall Winter Couture show during Paris Fashion Week embodied these very elements.

Stunning silhouettes made from black velvet and the intricate crystal embroidery tap into the world of Upper East Sider, New York.

New York’s natural beauty was also on show with birds flocking on skirts as well as flowers preciously beaded on tulle in yellow, light blue, bordeaux and black; and magically embroidered in 3D on Chantilly lace.

Elie Saab remained true to his signature gowns of sheer fabrics and heavy beading – adding a New York – Fitzgerald-inspired glamor; and this time introducing stunning miniature gowns for little princesses to his collection … just too cute for words!

Impressions of New York could be inspired by Mr Saab new Madison Avenue store scheduled to open in 2017.

Meanwhile enjoy Elie Saab’s stunning new collection…
